1. Who we are
Interweb Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides digital development services, including app development, eCommerce development, WordPress development, and business messaging and API integration services. This policy applies to the website at interweb.logicalframe.com and to personal information you provide when contacting us about our services.
For privacy-related questions, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact and identity information: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and job role when you choose to provide them.
- Project enquiry information: the service you are interested in, project requirements, business context, budget range, and other details you provide in a message.
- Technical information: limited technical data generated by normal website operation, such as IP address, browser type, server logs, date/time of a request, and security-related information.
- Business communications: emails, messages, meeting notes, proposals, agreements, and communications related to an active or prospective project.
- WhatsApp integration information: the business and contact details entered on the onboarding page, Meta-issued business and WhatsApp asset identifiers, authorization status, an app-scoped Meta user identifier where available, encrypted access credentials, and signed webhook event data needed to operate or troubleshoot the authorized integration.
3. How we use information
We use personal information only where it is relevant and necessary to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss a proposed project;
- prepare estimates, proposals, contracts, invoices, and project documentation;
- deliver agreed development, maintenance, support, or integration services;
- associate a Meta authorization with the correct client project, establish the approved WhatsApp Business connection, subscribe the authorized WhatsApp Business Account to our webhook, and maintain integration security and audit records;
- protect the website and our systems from spam, abuse, fraud, or security threats;
- meet legal, accounting, tax, or record-keeping obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we may process information because you have asked us to take steps before entering a contract, because processing is necessary to perform a contract, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing our business, because we must comply with a legal obligation, or because you have given consent where consent is required.
5. How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiry information that does not lead to a project is generally reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Project, contractual, financial, and support records may be retained longer where necessary for service continuity, accounting, legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. WhatsApp integration credentials are retained only while needed for the authorized integration and are removed or rendered unusable following deauthorization, a valid deletion request, or project closure where retention is no longer necessary.
6. Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our business, such as hosting, domain, email, communications, billing, cloud storage, code repository, and project-management providers, but only where appropriate for the relevant service. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business restructuring.
7. Client projects and third-party platforms
When we build or integrate a client project, the client typically determines the purpose and means of processing its end-user data. In those situations, Interweb Technologies may act as a service provider or processor under the client’s documented instructions. The client remains responsible for its own notices, lawful basis, platform configuration, and regulatory obligations unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Some projects may involve third-party platforms such as Meta products, WhatsApp Business Platform, payment providers, cloud hosts, analytics providers, or app stores. Those platforms process information under their own policies and terms. Their independent practices are not controlled by this website.
For WhatsApp Embedded Signup, Meta presents and processes the Facebook login, Business Portfolio selection, WhatsApp Business Account setup, and phone verification screens. Interweb Technologies does not receive the user’s Facebook password or Meta verification code. After successful authorization, Meta may return an authorization code and business asset identifiers to our server. The resulting access credential is encrypted before storage outside the public website directory.
8. International transfers
Our service providers, clients, or project tools may operate in locations outside your country. Where an international transfer is needed, we will take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, organisational, and technical measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, private API credentials, Meta verification codes, or other highly sensitive information through the website contact form or onboarding contact fields.
10. Cookies and analytics
This website is designed to operate without non-essential tracking cookies. Essential server or security mechanisms may process limited technical data necessary to operate and protect the site. The WhatsApp onboarding page uses an essential, short-lived session cookie to bind the authorization response to the correct browser session and prevent cross-site request forgery. If analytics, advertising pixels, consent tools, or other non-essential cookies are added in the future, this policy and any required consent mechanism should be updated before they are activated.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of your personal information. You may also have a right to data portability and a right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, email [email protected]. Meta users may also submit a platform data-deletion request through the registered callback at data-deletion.php. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
12. Children
Our services and website are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services, legal obligations, or operational practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
14. Contact
For questions, concerns, or privacy requests, email [email protected] or use the contact page.
